Lane Arts Council


Lane Arts Council was suffering from a classic brand identity crisis- balancing an image that has history and familiarity with an evolving brand that is growing younger, more energetic, and more diverse. We developed a visual identity, then a suite of digital and print templates and website to reposition the brand.

First, we redesigned the logo so that it represented an organization that was all about the dialogue that art can provoke. We picked a color palette that felt dynamic but still grown up, clean, inviting, and modern. We built them a website, LaneArts.org, that was specifically built to look good on mobile and be easily accessible for Lane Arts Council staff to edit and change. We redesigned their eNewsletter template, and developed a marketing plan for the First Friday Artwalk. On the first Friday of every month, you can see their banner flags fluttering on just about every street corner downtown.
