The Oregon State Marine Board (OSMB) needed a new logo—one that maintained some consistency with the old logo, while at the same time clarifying and freshening the OSMB image. It needed to be clear the OSMB was here to serve all boaters—from canoes and rafts to powerboats and sail boats and also provide a feeling of gravitas, safety, authority, and reliability.
