Philosophy

The bell+funk theory of everything:

  1. Make the complex simple. If your mother doesn’t get it, your target audience probably won’t either.
  2. Work with good clients on good projects.
  3. Listen before you speak: understand your target. Go into their homes, their offices, whatever it takes, and listen.
  4. Enjoy work. Enjoy life.
  5. Bigger is not better, except sometimes. If bigger means the quality of work suffers, it’s not better.
  6. Under-promise and over-deliver. Surprise and delight clients.
  7. Give back to the community.
  8. Work downtown.
