Form Follows Funk

February 9, 2011 – “Form Follows Funk: David Funk + Three Decades of Design in Eugene” is open through April 16, 2011 at Opus VII Gallery in downtown Eugene. This exhibit is a retrospective of David’s design career, from 1980 when he co-founded Rubick & Funk to his current work at bell+funk. The show will feature illustrations from David’s sketchbooks and journals, and printed works and paintings from 16 of the graphic designers that have worked for him. See how designs evolve from initial sketches to finished logos, try your hand at design, and offer your design critique in this visual journey full of unexpected treasures. This exhibit is free. Opus VII is open 10-5:30 Tuesday through Saturday.
